IDA Humanitarian Award
Each year the International Door Association, which is a trade organization that Rotary Products is a member of, recognizes individuals and companies who have served the association, and/or industry in an extraordinary way. The IDA depends extensively on recommendations by the membership as to who is deserving of being recognized. We are very proud of Gary Buechel of Rotary Products Inc. for receiving the IDA Humanitarian Award. This IDA award recognized an individual or company that has contributed significantly to a humanitarian need. Gary received recognition in May 2012 for his work with Canine Companions. Canine Companions for Independence® provides highly-trained assistance dogs for children and adults with disabilities, free of charge. The most advanced technology capable of transforming the lives of people with disabilities has a cold nose and a warm heart! So far, Gary has raised six puppies and changed countless lives.
