Compression Seals

Rotary Products has been manufacturing quality custom compression dock seals for over 30 years.  In our efforts to produce the finest compression dock seal available we have studied and monitored the performance of not only our own products, but those of our competitors.  These studies have resulted in an evolution of quality that is unsurpassed in our industry.

We know that special dock seal designs are needed to accommodate different slopes and sizes of trailers.  That's what makes our dock seals outlast our competitors.  If you want the most clearance for forklift traffic and products, a tight seal for insulation and protection against fumes, dirt, dust, insects and other unwanted matter, you have come to the right place.  Getting you the right product for the job is our specialty.

For our standard Compression Seal with a projection from 8" to 21" made in 1" increments, our dock seal is custom built to serve your needs.

  • Specially-designed ventilation holes and vent pockets provide fast air escape and recovery when units are compressed and decompressed by contact with trailer.
  • Special bonding of polyurethane foam to the frame make these seals durable, long-lasting performers.

All units are equipped with yellow safety guide stripes to aid drivers in proper alignment of their trailer with the loading dock seal.

Tapered compression dock seals are designed to match the angle of your loading dock and form a tight seal with trailers backing up or down sloped drives.
Rotary's MC Header style dock seal is designed to seal extra high door openings of 10' or higher.  This efficient, practical design is used in many loading dock applications.  This header is compatible with any C-Series, Z-Series or Tapered dock seals.
The AC Header Dock Seal is recommended for applications requiring access to the top of trucks.  The simple rope and pulley arrangement with a split, roll up curtain is less expensive and more serviceable than counter balanced adjustable headers.  In some situations this dock seal design can be recommended for loading docks that are serviced by different heights of trailers.

An 18" header pad design for your dock seal will allow a larger range of trailer heights to effectively complete their seal.  This design is a great application for places where there are only one or two docks available.

If your loading dock was built with 9' or 10' openings then our Super Wedge dock seal might be for you.  In some cases loading dock openings are built wider than the trailers that are used on them.  The Z-Series Super Wedge dock seal is desinged to project into these openings allowing the trailer to make an effective seal.
All Rotary's dock seals have many options available.  Please call the factory for more information.  1-800-457-5251

A galvanized steel snow/rain hood is recommended for installation over all dock seals.  It is designed to protect the top of the seal from damaging rain, snow, and ice. The integral gutter drains to the sides rather than on or in the trailer.
