Rotary Products Welcomes the Third Generation to the Family Loading Dock Equipment Business
Rotary Products Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Ben Buechel, Sales Manager, and Brie Buechel, Marketing Director, to the family business. The company was founded in Columbus, OH in 1958 by James Buechel. Since 1982 it has been owned and operated by his sons Gary and Chris. Rotary Products Inc. has manufactured custom-made loading dock equipment, such as dock seals, truck shelters, and strip doors, for approximately 35 years. RPI has expanded their business activity to include the distribution of all types of loading dock products. Ben and Brie look forward to the opportunity to work with our many friends in the door industry.

Rotary Products Inc. has been in business since 1958. The company was started by James Buechel and is now owned by his sons Gary and Chris Buechel. We originally made parts for street sweeping brooms and were called the Rotary Broom Refilling Service. Eventually, we were introduced to the loading dock industry and became Rotary Products Inc.
Now Rotary Products Inc. has manufactured custom-made loading dock equipment for over 35 years. With approximately 75 years combined experience designing, studying, and trouble-shooting loading dock applications, the Buechel family has seen it all. We estimate that in the field, 60% to 70% of the dock seal applications are misapplied in one way or another. This is due to a lack of understanding and information. When you call Rotary Products, you will speak to true professionals that have been studying not only dock seals but dock equipment as a whole. Gary and Chris Buechel still communicate with customers on a daily basis.
